Practical information to help you prepare your travel to Thailand for VIV Asia
VISA REQUIREMENTS
Visa requirements for Thailand depend on your nationality and length of stay. Some nationalities are eligible for visa exemption or visa on arrival, while others need to apply for a visa in advance.
Visa regulations may change. Check the latest requirements with the official Thai authorities before making your travel arrangements.
APPLY IN TIME
If you need a visa, start your application well in advance. Processing times vary and may take several weeks. You are responsible for completing the required visa formalities and ensuring your visa is received in time for VIV Asia 2027.
INVITATION LETTER
If you are travelling from a country whose citizens require a visa for Thailand, you can request an official invitation letter from VNU Exhibitions Europe B.V. and VNU Exhibitions Asia Pacific.
To request your letter:
- Download the Visa Invitation Letter application form.
- Complete the form digitally. Handwritten forms are not accepted.
- Email the completed form together with a copy of your passport to nopparat@vnuasiapacific.com
- Your official invitation letter will be sent to you by email.
For exhibitors, the form also asks for the relevant hall and booth number.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Please note that VNU Exhibitions Europe B.V. and VNU Exhibitions Asia Pacific:
- cannot influence decisions made by Thai embassies or consulates;
- are not responsible for visa application costs or other travel expenses;
- cannot accept responsibility if a visa is refused, delayed or not received in time;
- cannot accept responsibility if you are unable to travel to the event for other reasons.
