WHY VIV ASIA'S EXPANSION IS GOOD NEWS FOR EVERYONE

VIV Asia has always grown alongside the industry it serves. In 2027 for its coming edition, that growth becomes visible the moment you walk through the doors. Exhibition Center Halls 567 are not new to the IMPACT venue, but they are new to VIV Asia in this way: previously home to the co-located Horti Agri Next (HAN), these halls now solely become a dedicated part of VIV Asia itself, standing alongside the Challenger Halls 1, 2 and 3 that exhibitors and visitors already know well. It is the biggest expansion in the show’s history, and it did not happen by accident.

Halls 567: A dedicated place for a growing industry

Numbers tell the story plainly. The expansion increases VIV Asia’s exhibition footprint by 38%, adding more than 52,000 square metres of new space and growing total capacity to over 1,600 exhibitors. This is what happens when a show grows in step with its industry. The feed to food community has more to bring to the table every year, and VIV Asia is making sure there is room for all of it.

This expansion also comes with a sharper focus. VIV Asia is now able to dedicate its full attention to what it does best: curating strong country pavilions, deepening the Feed & Grain Tech offering, and giving more allocated space to Animal Health and Feed & Grain Tech companies.

Country Pavilions for international representation and industry connection

The new halls are not an overflow space. They are being built, from day one, as a dedicated home for international representation and industry connection. Halls 567 will host the show’s country pavilions, making a good case for visiting. The early confirmations already point to the scale of what is coming: France, Korea, Belgium, China and Brazil have all confirmed their participation, with more countries potentially joining in the coming months.

Each pavilion is a curated entry point into a country’s agrifood capabilities. Business France anchors feed ingredient expertise across all species, while Flanders Investment & Trade brings a strong farm production focus. ABRA (Brazil) rounds out breeding & hatching, alongside UNEM — the Brazilian corn ethanol union whose co-products feed into the feed ingredients space. The UK’s UKTAG (UK Technology for Agriculture & Genetics) pavilion spans farm production, breeding & hatching, and feed grain technology, while Korea’s KFIA (Korea Feed Ingredients Association) and KAHPA (Korea Animal Health Products Association) cover feed ingredients and animal health respectively. Japan adds its own animal health expertise to the mix — with Italy and China pavilions rounding out the lineup with equally strong national representation. Nowhere else at the show will you find this concentration of national expertise in one place.

A welcome staple: VIV Village

Surrounding the pavilions, the VIV Village brings the show’s thinking and dealmaking to life. VIV Square serves as the flagship stage for thought leadership sessions, while the Industry Leaders Lounge gives decision-makers a space to meet, do business, and build relationships. The Start-up Hub puts emerging companies in front of investors through pitch competitions and curated talks, and VIV Women of Impact offers a dedicated gallery and roundtable celebrating the women shaping the future of the animal protein and agrifood industry. For buyers, the Hosted Buyer Corner delivers business match-making and curated roundtable dialogues designed to turn conversations into deals.

Rounding out the halls, the Innovation Stage in Hall 6 puts the spotlight squarely on new products and technologies, giving exhibitors a dedicated platform to showcase what’s next.

For anyone visiting the show, this is the clearest reason to treat Halls 567 as essential, not optional. Between the national pavilions, the VIV Village’s networking and knowledge spaces, and the Innovation Stage, skipping these halls would mean missing the most concentrated, connected part of what VIV Asia 2027 has to offer.

A dedicated focus on Feed & Grain Technology

Within this same push for meaningful connection, Feed & Grain Technology stands out as a key focus pillar for VIV Asia 2027, addressing the growing challenges around feed availability, supply chain resilience, grain security, efficiency and sustainable production. Beyond showcasing solutions, VIV Asia will facilitate dedicated knowledge and connection activities, including targeted matchmaking and exclusive roundtable dialogues, bringing together industry players, C-suite executives, government representatives and key buyers to exchange insights, address critical industry issues, and build meaningful business and strategic partnerships.

Built to bring quality visitors through the doors

A hall number has never been what makes an exhibition valuable. What matters is whether the right people walk through the door, and VIV Asia is putting an extensive planning behind making sure that happens in Halls 567 from day one.

That means dedicated marketing campaigns built specifically around Halls 567, clear wayfinding throughout the venue, and a visitor flow designed from the ground up so that all six halls feel like one continuous show. The country pavilions themselves will be a strong draw in their own right, giving visitors a reason to plan their time in these halls as carefully as anywhere else. The goal is straightforward: exhibitors get the footfall, the visibility, and the return that VIV Asia is known for.

We understand that exhibiting in a new hall can feel like a daunting change, and that hesitation is completely fair. That is exactly why we remain even more committed to ensuring that regardless of whichever hall you are placed in, VIV Asia will be a spectacular show where meaningful connections are made and businesses get the most value out of their investment.

What we are really building here is a better quality of space for everyone on the show floor. Wider aisles and less congestion mean visitors can move through the halls with ease, while exhibitors benefit from better stand visibility and a floor plan that actually works in their favor. There is more room for the meetings and conversations that drive real business, for exhibitors hosting clients and for visitors looking to connect. Every design decision comes back to one thing: making the show easier to navigate and more rewarding for everyone who walks through the doors.

ONE SEAMLESS EVER-GROWING SHOW

The expansion into Halls 567 was never an afterthought or about fitting in more companies for the sake of a bigger number. It is about bringing the future of VIV Asia into the present. The agrifood industry keeps growing, and this expansion is the most logical response to that trajectory, not a departure from it.

VIV Asia 2027 is still one show, built on the same purpose it has always had. It simply now has the space to match where the industry is headed, becoming everything it was always growing toward.
